Before you start
- Create the packages you want to offer in Settings → Saved packages.
- Confirm your business timezone in Business profile & branding. Weekly hours use that timezone.
What you will learn
- Organize public packages into categories and choose their order.
- Protect confirmed bookings with availability windows, buffers, and private blocks.
- Understand why a pending request is not a reservation.
Step-by-step
Choose the offered packages
In Form & availability, select packages from the shared library. Add categories such as Portraits, Wedding, and Event, then reorder the offers as you want clients to see them. A visitor first chooses a category, then sees its package options.
Set hours and booking limits
Add weekly availability windows, minimum notice, and how far ahead requests may be made, up to three years. Available starts use 30-minute intervals. Set each offer's duration and independent before/after buffers; the booking and its buffers must fit the available hours.
Block time you cannot offer
Use Blocked dates or create an unavailable range from the calendar. Include a reason for your own reference. Confirmed booked dates and blocked ranges affect availability; the reason itself is not shown to public visitors.
Add the questions and publish
Write category-specific questions before the contact-details step. Preview the guided form, including a date with no availability. Enable Publish booking page and save, then copy the link or embed code to your website.
Review before confirming
Open Requests to review package, time, answers, and contact details. Approval checks availability again. Pending requests and lead dates do not block a slot: several wedding inquiries can request the same date until you confirm booked work.
The pending window is not a slot hold
The Pending request window controls how long a new or renewed request stays current; use zero for no expiry. It does not reserve availability. Expiry does not erase the request. This keeps potential wedding dates open while you decide which inquiry becomes a booking.
- Avoid describing a pending request to a client as confirmed.
- Approval and decline do not automatically email the client; communicate your decision separately.
- The form does not automatically charge the visitor or create an invoice.
Availability, timezones, and travel time
Your saved business timezone is the schedule's reference. Clients can choose their viewing timezone without changing that business schedule. Before/after buffers protect preparation, travel, and recovery time around confirmed bookings.
| A 60-minute offer | Example availability requirement |
|---|---|
| Client starts at 10:00 | The session itself runs until 11:00. |
| 15-minute before buffer | The business must also be available from 09:45. |
| 30-minute after buffer | Time through 11:30 must also be available. |

AVAILABLE START TIMES
Choose a category, package, and available time. Requests still need your approval.
Enable two-way Google sync to include outside busy commitments in availability. Their titles and details are never included in the public form. Send-only connections require manual unavailable ranges for outside commitments.

Common questions
Does a lead stop someone else requesting that date?
No. Lead dates and pending requests do not reserve it. Confirmed booked dates and blocked ranges affect availability.
Will I get the request details by email?
When sending is configured, the business can receive the submitted details by email. The Requests page remains the place to review them.
Can I reorder packages without changing prices?
Yes. Adjust the public offer order. The package library remains the reusable source for its line items and price.
